INTRODUCTION TO TEACH HOME EDUCATORS OF BRANT
TEACH Home Educators of Brant is a non-profit Christian homeschool support group that was established in September 1990 and serves Christian homeschooling families in the greater Brant County area.
TEACH is dedicated to the education and socialization of children in the natural setting of the family. Each TEACH member is responsible for the primary education of their own family. As Christian teaching parents, we aim to support one another through prayer, encouragement, and resources.
Regarding its policies and actions, TEACH takes as its supreme and final authority the Word of God as recorded in the Holy Bible consisting of the Old and New Testaments, which are inspired by God, inerrant, and infallible in their original manuscripts. This is the basis of the moral and spiritual standards by which our support group operates. Our theme Bible verse is Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
PURPOSE 1. To support one another as teaching parents through prayer, encouragement and resources. 2. To support and provide friendship for our children. 3. To support other parents interested in home schooling with information, resources and encouragement. We fulfill these purposes by holding monthly meetings for parents, providing sports activities, field trips and other special events for students. |
